What to Expect
This tour is set for one to experience the best of Kenyan wildlife by visiting the different and diverse parks and reserves within the country. You will begin at Amboseli National Park to The Aberdare then to Lake Naivasha then finally to the Masai Mara; the world cup of wildlife in Africa. You will be touring in a private, luxurious, safari vehicle with an experienced and knowledgeable driver guide throughout your safari and back to Nairobi. .
Day 1
NAIROBI- AMBOSELI
On this day you will be met by our company representative and your driver guide for meet and greet. After which you will be driven to the Amboseli National Park. Arrive in time for lunch. After lunch enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive in search of the free range tusked elephants, wildebeest, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, Masai giraffe among other animals. Here you will also get to enjoy the breath-taking photogenic view of Mount Kilimanjaro; weather permitting. Return to the camp in the evening.
Day 2
FULL DAY AT AMBOSELI
Rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, we set off for another stimulating game drive. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Wildebeest to Giraffes to Baboons. On this day you will have morning and evening game drives
Back to the hotel in the evening.
Day 3
AMBOSELI-LAKE NAIVASHA
Depart from Amboseli after an early breakfast and drive towards Lake Naivasha where you will arrive in time for lunch. After which you will head out to Naivasha to discover its best kept secret; the Crescent Island. This wondrous island is in Lake Naivasha which is a beautiful freshwater lake fringed by thick papyrus and its surroundings are rich in natural bounty abound in bird life such as fish eagles, ospreys, lily trotters, a variety of herons and over 200 more species. You will enjoy a boat ride on the glittering lake Naivasha and view the herds of hippos and various water birds found within the lake on your way to the island. At the island you get a chance to be up close to the array of wildlife such as giraffes, waterbucks, elands, wildebeest, zebras, impalas and the elusive colobus monkey. The sanctuary does not contain any predators, so it is perfectly safe to do the walk with the appointed guide.
Day 4
LAKE NAIVASHA-LAKE NAKURU
After having your breakfast you will head to Lake Nakuru National Park. Upon arrival you will head out on your game drives within the Lake Nakuru National Park. Check into the hotel located inside the park and have lunch. After lunch and rest continue with game drives in Lake Nakuru National Park which is also known as a bird watchers paradise. Flamingos are found on lake Nakuru giving the Lake a distinct pink hue. It is also home to the endangered black rhino, big cats and other wild life. Back to the hotel in the evening.
Day 5
LAKE NAKURU-MAASAI MARA
On this day you will have breakfast then head to the Mara. This area of preserved savannah wilderness covers an area of 1510km2 and is part of the vast Serengeti plains. It is widely known for its picturesque wildebeest migration. It is home to the big five that is the lion, the buffalo, the rhino, the elephant and the leopard among other magnificent animals such as the giraffes, black backed jackal, bat eared fox, Thomson gazelle, topi and hartebeest. It also harbors over 500 different species of birds such as ostrich, bustard, white backed vulture, secretary bird and marabou stork. Upon your arrival you will proceed to the Mara Leisure Camp for your lunch before you head out for an afternoon game drive through the astounding reserve. All your flora and fauna related questions will be aptly answered by your driver guide as you make your rounds..
Day 6
FULL DAY AT MAASAI MARA
Have breakfast and then proceed for a full day tour game viewing in Kenya's finest wildlife park, the Masai Mara National Reserve. The morning and afternoon game drives take you in search of Africa's Big Five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. On clear days, the Mara offers fantastic orange tinged sunsetâs well-worth capturing on camera. Wherever you go in the vast Masai Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Leopards are harder to spot, but reasonably common. You will also be taken for a cultural visit to a Masai village. Back to the camp in the evening.
Day 7
MAASAI MARA TO NAIROBI
On your final day in the park you will have your
breakfast and check out of your lodge. You will leisurely drive back to Nairobi
with a panoramic view of the rift valley en-route.
