What to Expect
his package takes you to the untamed home of Jumbos Amboseli National Park, it truly brings us into contact with the heart and soul of Kenya. Discover the Magic Lake Nakuru National Park, an important wildlife sanctuary, hosting an abundance of birds and varied wildlife, including both white and black rhinos. Enjoy two full days game viewing drives in the world-famous Masai Mara, home to the splendid great wildebeest migration, zebra and other grazers.
Day 1
Jambo! Karibu Kenya!
Upon arrival you will be warmly met and gifted Souvenir Safari Hat with our Driver Guide who shall receive you at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Here you will begin your journey to Amboseli National Park.
Arrive at your Lodge for Check-in followed by a sumptuous buffet Lunch. Rest of the day enjoy a relaxation with the use of the recreational facilities offered to you in the Lodge.
At around 16:00 hours after enjoying your afternoon Kenyan tea and coffee head out for an exciting game viewing drive with the hopes of spotting different Wildlife and Birdlife along the way.
The name Amboseli comes from a Masai word meaning salty dust and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large heards of elephants. Nature lovers can explore 5 different habitats here ranging from the dried up bed of Lake Amboseli wetlands with Sulphur Springs the Savannah and Woodlands.
Return to your Lodge at 18:00 hours for Dinner followed by overnight stay.
Day 2
After breakfast depart via Nairobi to Lake Nakuru depart for Lake Nakuru National Park “A beautiful wildlife havenâ€. You will arrive in good time for check-in and hot buffet lunch. After lunch drive into Lake Nakuru National Park and enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive.
You are likely to see a variety of birds which includes the Egyptian goose and a variety of ducks that come from Europe. Since there is no existing drainage, Lake Nakuru is alkaline, the perfect place for flamingos to feed on the blue-green algae. The greater flamingo attains a height of about 4.26 feet; its plumage is almost white with a pale pink, black tipped beak. It is the lesser flamingo that has the more exotic color. Different types of wildlife including the White Rhino and Black Rhino, Cheetah, Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo and other members of the Big five. Return to Hotel for Dinner followed by overnight.
Day 3
After a sumptuous buffet breakfast, proceed to your rooms and ensure all your items are packed and nothing is left behind. Proceed to the Reception Desk our Driver Guide awaits for you. Today you journey takes you to Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Arrive in time for Check-in followed by hot lunch. Maasai Mara National Reserve is a pristine wilderness of haunting beauty, it promises its visitors a profusion of wildlife, prolific bird life and the unprecedented opportunity of catching up with all the members of the 'Big Five' in one morning. Spend leisure with the use of the recreational facilities provided for you in the Camp. Enjoy an afternoon refreshments shortly after embark for your afternoon game viewing drive with the possibility of spotting active game. Return to Camp in the evening for Dinner followed by overnight.
Day 4
After breakfast, full day game viewing drive in Masai Mara which offers absolutely unique variety of animals. The reason being that this hilly region is both humid and fertile and is crossed by Mara and Talek rivers full of crocodiles and hippos. The abundance of water and excellent availability of food are the reasons Masai Mara has greatest population of wild animals in the whole of Africa.
Masai Mara National Reserve is considered Kenya’s best park and one of Africa’s highest wildlife density regions for predators. The reserve covers 583 square miles (1510 square kilometers) of outstanding wilderness in southwest Kenya. The location, wildlife, activities and comfortable moderate climate puts Mara at the top of the list when the public reserve was first established; accommodate Maasai cattle grazing on their ancestral lands. Return to Camp for Dinner followed by Overnight.
Day 5
After breakfast, depart for a full day in Masai Mara Game Reserve with picnic lunch box. Today you will descend to the famous sites the Mara River. You can also take optional Hot Air Balloon Safari at own cost or visit a local Maasai village at own cost. The reserve offers one of the best opportunities to see cheetah and lions in Africa. A visit to this reserve in July will allow you the best chance to witness and watch firsthand as thousands of wildebeest migrate across the swollen crocodile infested Mara River. This is one of nature’s greatest wildlife spectacles, the wildebeest migration, reaches Masai Mara. The sheer number of wildebeests arriving in the area is staggering. The migration is a dramatic mass movement of almost two million wildebeests, zebras and gazelles in a seasonal annual cycle driven by rainfall. Return to Camp in the evening for Dinner followed by overnight.
Day 6
At 06h00 depart for a dawn game drive with the hopes of spotting the Big Cats roaming the Savannah. Return to your Camp at 08h00 for a buffet breakfast. After breakfast; resume to your rooms and ensure all of your items are packed nothing is left behind. Proceed at the Reception Desk for your Driver Guide awaits for you. Today journey takes you back to Nairobi.
Upon arrival in Nairobi; you will the option to have Lunch at own cost followed by a brief City Tour Excursion visiting Giraffe Center or Nairobi National Park at own cost. Our Driver Guide will transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your scheduled flight back home after a wonderful Kenya Safari Tour.
