Cultural Tour
What to Expect
During this tour, you will get the opportunity to live an authentic traditional Maasai life, rather than seeing a commercial camp set up strictly for entertainment. You will get to know the Maasai people living and working in the camp, visit their traditional homes, and get insight to their daily lives.
- Warrior Training:Â try your skill at spear throwing, close-up warrior battle, fire making, and much more.
- Village Life:Â experience the homes, cooking, water fetching, and other daily life activities.
- Cultural Activities:Â hear the songs and stories of the warriors around the camp fire, or plan for a ceremony of blessing and celebration.
- Walking with the Maasai:Â experience the hills and plains as the Maasai do, on foot. Learn about how they survive in the wildness, and use holy and medicinal plants from nature.
Day 1
You will be met by our company representative at your hotel/airport, briefed and thereafter leave immediately driving down to the Great Rift Valley to Majimoto Eco Camp where you will have lunch. After some rest you will have a guided walk around the Loita plains which is home elephants, elands, zebras and a number of bird species. You will be accompanied by a knowledgeable resident Maasai guide who will give you an insight on the Maasai culture as well as taking to great heights so as to enjoy the wonderful views of the Great Rift Valley.

Day 2
In the morning you will drive up to the famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve using the Sekenani Gate and taking along packed breakfast and lunch. The Mara is one of the most popular parks in Kenya, it is home to the big five, grazers, bird species, small animals and also those inhabiting the waters like the crocodiles and hippos. Keep your eyes open to catch action when a hungry cheetah tucked in the grasses springs and pounces on an antelope only for a trailing hyena to enjoy the price. A visit to the Mara River. The sight of huge crocodile is a picture with a tale. The Mara River is home to the 8th wonder of the world which happens annually in the months of July to October, during this time this river turns to a valley of death and only the fittest can survive. Herds of wildebeest and zebras cross from the Serengeti into Mara seeking greener pastures, but the resident crocodile of this river lay in wait to feast on the weak that try to cross. All meals and overnight at Majimoto Eco Camp.

Day 3
Breakfast at the camp, leisure with a variety of activities to participate in. From trekking to biking, all activities at a time. Lunch at the Majimoto Eco-Camp then depart for Nairobi where upon arrival you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International for your departure flight back home.
