This is East Africa's largest black rhino sanctuary and has very high wildlife population including the white rhino and the rest of the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant & buffalo). The very rare Grevy's zebra and other wildlife species find home here. The Conservancy has an un-matched reputation of hosting the Jane Goodall Institute (only place where chimpanzee are found in Kenya), last abode of the northern white rhino (with only 5 left surviving worldwide) and home of Morani (the famous black rhino). The Conservancy is also where Sudan (the white rhino from Czech Republic) is interred. Ol Pejeta is certainly worth all the effort of a visit.
