What to Expect

Day 1

Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

Pick up Hotel/Airport and leave for Masai Mara National Reserve with a short stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. Arrive at the camp in good time for lunch and rest. In the afternoon, head for a game drive: the best time to witness big cats, herds of buffaloes, elephants, and antelopes until sunset.

Dinner and Overnight at Ashnil Mara Camp

Day 2

Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast; leave for a full day game drive carrying picnic lunch: The reserve is well known for its black-manned lion and is one of the few places where you have the chance to view the Big 5. Cheetah is so tame, they seek shelter from the hot sun under the safari vehicles and several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey. For the bird enthusiast, almost 500 species have been recorded.

Dinner and Overnight at Ashnil Mara Camp

Day 3

Masai Mara National Reserve - Lake Nakuru National Park

After morning game drive and breakfast; leave for Lake Nakuru National Park to arrive in good time for lunch and rest. In the afternoon; head for an afternoon game drive: The Park is home to stunning flocks of lesser and Greater Flamingos, which literally turn the lakeshores in to a magnificent pink stretch. The birdlife here is world-renowned and over 400 bird species exist here, White Pelicans, Plovers, Egrets, and Marabou Stork. It is also one of the very few places in Africa to see the White and Black Rhino and rare Rothschild Giraffe.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and dinner

Day 4

Lake Nakuru National Park - Lake Naivasha

Do an early morning game drive; return to your lodge for full breakfast.Â After breakfast, leave for Lake Naivasha to arrive in good time for lunch and rest. In the afternoon, have the option of taking a nature walk and shopping at Lake Naivasha town. Optional Boatride safari at Lake Naivasha can be arranged at an extra cost.

Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and dinner

Day 5

Lake Naivasha - Nairobi

Have morning breakfast and leisure. Leave for Nairobi to arrive in good time for drop off Nairobi hotel/Airport.
