3-Day Private Samburu National Park Safari
What to Expect
Enjoy a Private Safari where you will not be mixed with Strangers in one of Kenya's hidden gem the Iconic Samburu National Reserve. Home to the pastoral tribe of Samburu, the park boasts some rare wildlife only unique to this area. The landscape is amazing with Palm Grooves and Riverine Forests found in the midst of the arid and semi arid ecosystem.
Day 1
Early morning pick up (07:30) from your Nairobi Hotel by our Driver Guide, followed by departure towards Samburu National Reserve. The scenic drive will take us through the lower slopes of Mt. Kenya and across the equator.
Rest stops will be provided along the way.
We anticipate to arrive by lunch time at Samburu Simba Lodge which overlooks Ewaso Nyiro River. The location is simply breathtaking.
Our afternoon game will begin at 4 pm and it will give us the opportunity to see wildlife that can only be found in this section of Kenya's northern frontier. Dinner and Overnight is at Samburu Simba Lodge.
Day 2
Today you have a full day in Samburu, with an early morning and late afternoon game drive in search of the so called "Special Five" or "Northern Five" that are only found specific to this region north of the equator. The "Special Five" include the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy's zebra, Beisa Oryx, Somali Ostrich, and the Gerenuk.
The reserve is also home to the big cats namely the lion, leopard, and cheetah. Did you also know that the Samburu skies offer the best opportunity for Star Gazing?
Dinner and overnight will be at Samburu Simba Lodge.
Day 3
After a memorable stay at Samburu National Reserve, we shall say Kwaheri as we head to Nairobi The Safari Capital of the World.
Depending on your flight arrangements or overnight arrangements for the day, we will be more than happy to be of assistance. Memories of our experiential safari will forever be in our hearts.
