What to Expect

Day 1
Nairobi - Samburu
Upon your
arrival in Nairobi, Kenya, you'll embark on a scenic drive to Samburu Game
Reserve, where you'll arrive just in time for lunch. In the afternoon, the
adventure begins with an exciting game drive in the reserve. Keep your eyes
peeled for incredible wildlife sightings, including zebras, elephants, Oryx,
and a variety of captivating bird species. As the day comes to a close, you'll
return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2
Samburu Game Reserve
You have
another day to explore the wonders of Samburu Game Reserve, known for its
excellent game viewing and remarkable birdlife. Spend your day on thrilling
game drives, where you'll have the opportunity to observe the unique wildlife
and absorb the breathtaking landscapes. The Ewaso Ng’iro River, a lifeline for
the region, adds a touch of relief with its lush banks. Amidst all this, you'll
find yourself immersed in the natural beauty of Samburu. As the day ends,
return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3
Samburu - Aberdare
After
breakfast, drive to the Aberdare region. Along the way, enjoy a picnic lunch
and continue to Solio Ranch for an afternoon game drive. Solio Ranch plays a
vital role in the conservation and breeding of black rhinos, a member of the
renowned Big Five group. Explore this privately owned protected area and gain
insights into the essential rhino conservation efforts. Dinner and overnight at
your chosen accommodation.
Day 4
Aberdare - Lake Naivasha
After
breakfast, check out and set off for Lake Naivasha.
Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at the lodge. Later in the day, embark on an exciting
visit to Crescent Island, where you'll take a boat ride and embark on a nature
walk. Crescent Island, with its unique crescent shape, is a captivating
peninsula offering encounters with a variety of wildlife and stunning views. Return
to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5
Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara
After
breakfast, check out and depart for the renowned Masai Mara Game Reserve. The
journey takes you to this land of "spotted plains," named so in the
Maa language. Upon arrival at your lodge or camp, savor a delicious lunch. In
the afternoon, embark on an exhilarating game drive, offering your first
glimpse of the Mara's incredible wildlife. As the sun sets, return to your accommodation
for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6
Masai Mara
Spend
another thrilling day in the Masai Mara, known for its abundant wildlife and
exceptional game drives. Enjoy both morning and afternoon game drives, during
which you'll have the opportunity to witness the iconic Big Five and a diverse
range of other animals. The Mara's open grasslands ensure that wildlife is
never out of sight, and bird enthusiasts will also be in paradise with numerous
species to spot. For those seeking an extra dose of adventure, optional hot air
balloon rides are available. Conclude your day with dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7
Masai Mara - Nairobi
After breakfast and a final game drive in the Masai Mara, you'll depart for Nairobi,
where you'll be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for
your outbound flight.
