RWANDA GORILLA TREKKING
What to Expect
- DAY 1- Meet and greet at JKIA and depart to Rwanda. Arrive at Kigali International Airport. Meet the guide. After lunch, visit the Genocide Memorial Center. Transfer to Musanze for accommodation at your hotel/lodge of choice.
- DAY 2- Early morning we commence the gorilla trekking after an introduction from a Park Ranger. We track the gorilla family along the Volcanoes National Park trails. Overnight in your hotel of choice.
- DAY 3-Â Guided excursion of the Golden monkey trekking and an afternoon visit to the twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo. Overnight in your hotel of choice.
- DAY 4- After breakfast enjoy beach activities at Gisenyi Beach and a drive to Kigali for a city tour and departure.
Day 1
Meet and greet at JKIA and depart to Rwanda. Arrive at Kigali International Airport. Meet the guide. After lunch, visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial Center. Transfer to Musanze for accommodation at your hotel/lodge of choice.
Day 2
Early morning we commence the gorilla trekking after an introduction from a professional Park Ranger at the park headquarters. We track the gorilla family along the Volcanoes National Park trails. End the day with a visit to Diane Fossey's grave site. Dinner and overnight stay in your hotel of choice.
Day 3
Guided excursion of the Golden monkey trekking and an afternoon visit to the Iby'Iwacu cultural village. Evening transfer to Gisenyi near Lake Kivu for dinner and overnight stay in your hotel of choice.
Day 4
Breakfast at Gisenyi beach and enjoy beach activities. An afternoon drive to Kigali for a city tour and departure en-route to Nairobi.
