What to Expect
Best of Kenya wildlife lodge safari sampling the most famous game parks
and sceneries. A combination of wildlife, bird watching and sceneries of
Kenya the land of beauty. A safari to the beautiful Samburu Savanna, the
Lake Nakuru bird sanctuary, Maasai Mara for the big 5 and the annual
wilde beest migration.
Day 1






Day 1: Nairobi-Samburu
Pick up from Airport/ hotel at 0700 hrs.and depart for the dramatic
semi-aridscrub land of the Northern Frontier. Arrival in Samburu will be
by lunchtime. After lunch embark on a game drive to sight resident
wildlifspecies like the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy's Zebra, Beisa Oryx
andtheBlue-necked Somali Ostrich that are rare elsewhere in the country.
Dinnerand overnight will be at the spectacular Samburu simba lodge
Day 2






Day 2: Samburu Game Reserve
Today you will spend the full day in the Samburu National Park. You will
have early morning and evening game drives. All your meals and overnight
will be at lodge.
Day 3






Depart samburu and Cross the Kenyan Highlands, through pineapple and coffee plantations, to your âbase hotelâ in time for lunch at Aberdare Country Club. Afternoon transfer into Aberdare National Park and on to The Ark Lodge for bird watching and overnight floodlit game viewing from the lodge viewing decks. Ark Lodge, set in the heart of the Aberdare National Park, is an unique tree lodge with a veranda that overlooks a floodlit waterhole and saltlick allowing undisturbed views of wildlife visiting the waterhole. Elephant, rhino, leopard, bushbuck and occasionally an elusive bongo and giant forest hog have been sighted.
The 60 guest rooms are all en-suite. All cabins have private bathrooms with shower, and are comfortably furnished with bedside lamps and carpeted floors to ward off the evening and morning chill. Resembling and named after Noahâs Ark, The Ark Tree Lodge is designed with âdecksâ from which numerous balconies and lounges provide superb vantage points for game viewing. Day 4






Day 4: Aberdare-Lake Nakuru
After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch at
Nakuru lodge in nakuru town and late afternoon proceed for game drive
giving you a chanceto see large flocks of flamingos, rhino, giraffe among
other wild. Return resort for dinner and overnight.www.lakenakurulodge.
Lake Nakuru's claim to fame is anchored on its flamingo's and the over 400
species of birds found here. The lake itself is a soda lake on the floorof
the rift valley. The sight of the at times millions of flamingos isquite
spectacular. From a distance the lake appears ringed in pink. The Lake has
also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered
species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white
rhino. Lions, waterbuck, buffalo and baboons are all residents here.
Day 5






Day 5: Lake Nakuru- Maasai Mara
Breakfast then view game as we exit the park and drive to via the Great
Rift Valley to arrive at Maasai Mara in time for lunch at Mara Aa lodge
. Full afternoon game drive till dusk when we return to the lodge for
dinner and overnight stay at the lodge
Day 6






Full days exploring the park in search of the big 5.Early morning and
lateafternoon game drives are offered. Dinner and overnight stay at the

difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here.
You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe,
wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs,
buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara
that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place.
This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the
Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their
heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal,
hyena and vultures
