These are 7 peaks in a ridge, located southwest of Nairobi. The name, derived from the local Masai dialect, means “rhinoceros spring” named after a spring near Ngong Town. The climb generally takes about 4 to 5 hours to complete it and depending on one’s fitness level. The hills have a thick cover of indigenous forests. Animals to be found here include buffalo, porcupine, wild pig and dik dik among others. Facilities include camp picnic sites at the foot of the hill, ziplining, paintball, cycling and archery at the Kompass Restaurant. Windmills can also be seen from the hills
