Day 1
Pick up from JKIA Airport/hotel in the
morning and drive down the escarpment. Stop at the observation deck overlooking
the Great Rift Valley to enjoy the spectacular view and scenery and then
proceed across the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara to reach your camp in
time for lunch. After lunch we have an
afternoon game drive starting at 4pm.
The reserve is popular for the big five and is a northern extension of
the Serengeti National Park eco system in Tanzania. Dinner & overnight at your preferred lodge (LD)
Day 2
Day spent game viewing armed with packed lunch to experience the Mara magic! Kenya’s premier reserve is famed for its astounding concentration of wildlife and harboring lions, leopards, cheetah, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, Masai giraffes, hippos, black rhinos, spotted hyenas many species of antelopes. The climax is the annual great wildebeest migration in July, August, September and October of each year. We visit Mara River in search of the migration crossing as well as see the crocodiles and hippos. In addition, more than 470 species of birds have been identified in the park with almost 60 species being raptors. The birds include vultures, marabou storks, secretary birds, horn bills, crowned cranes, ostriches, long-crested eagles, African pygmy-falcons and the lilac-breasted roller. Day 3
After breakfast we depart for Nairobi and drop you off at JKIA in time for your International home bound flight (B) END OF SAFARI
