Day 1
You will be met by one of our company representatives at the
airport upon your arrival and given a short briefing about the Safari. Have
breakfast and thereafter start your journey to Maasai Mara.
Arrive in time for check-in, lunch and a short relaxation
then proceed for an afternoon game drive.
The sunset over the African horizon will be the Peak of this
day as you experience the marvelous views of the great Maasai Mara sundowner
and round your evening game drive.
Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or Similar
Meal Plan on Full Board Basis- (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
QUICK FACTS ABOUT MAASAI MARA
- It is situated in the South-West
of Kenya.
- This is undisputedly one of
Africa’s best known and Kenya’s most famous wildlife destination. It is a must
visit destination for almost every traveler coming to Kenya.
- Together with the Serengeti
National Park in Tanzania, they form Africa’s most incredible, diverse and most
spectacular eco-systems and possibly the world’s top safari big game viewing
ecosystem.
- The terrain is fairly a classic
savannah and has a consistent landscape of open grasslands. This makes it easy
to spot wildlife and the Great Wildebeest Migration.
- Maasai Mara is wildly and best
known for the Great wildebeest migration, which occurs annually between July and
September. During this time, close to 1.5 million wildebeest, antelopes and
zebra migrate from the Serengeti (Tanzania) to the Maasai Mara (Kenya) in search
of food and water. However, the migratory routes greatly depend on the weather
patterns and other factors.
- The reserve also boasts of around
500 bird species i.e., Ostrich, secretary bird, cranes, eagles, marabou stock and
vultures.
- The Maa community is the largest community in this geographical area. A visit to the Maasai village to learn more about their culture and traditions will be a bonus and a great experience as you will interact with the local Maasai community.
Day 2
On this day, you can choose
between the three options depending on your flexibility and preference:
Option 1: Have breakfast and then
proceed for full day game viewing with packed Lunch Boxes in Kenya’s finest
wildlife reserve-The Maasai Mara National Reserve searching for the Big-Five
and other animals.
Option 2: You may opt for an early
morning game drive searching for the Big cats making a kill then return to the Camp/Lodge
to freshen up and have breakfast. Spend the rest of the midmorning at your
leisure either swimming, reading a book or just relaxing. Later, have lunch and
proceed for another afternoon/Evening game drive in search of the Big-Five and
other animals.
Option 3: You may choose to go an
optional Hot Air Balloon Safari Experience USD 450 Per Person. Ideally, you
will be picked up early in the morning from your Camp/Lodge and transferred to
the Launch Site. The whole experience takes about an hour and a half. From
there, you can proceed with the game drives with packed lunch till evening
combing the wild in search of the Big-Five animals. You can also visit a Maasai
Mara Cultural Village to learn more about their Culture & Traditions at an
extra cost ($30 Per Person).
Return to the lodge for a shower,
relaxation and thereafter dinner.

Day 3
Wake up and have breakfast before
checking out of the hotel and departing for Nairobi with en-route game drives.
Arrive in time for late lunch
before going to the Hotel for relaxation and Dinner.

Day 4
This will be the final day of the Safari. It’s time to bid you farewell as you depart Kenya, hopefully soon to return.
After breakfast, you will proceed to Nairobi National Park for the early morning game drives and explore this amazing Park-The only park within a capital city in the world!
Have lunch before proceeding with the afternoon plan of exploring the city.
This afternoon will be yours to explore Nairobi City. We will guide you as you go about this and also visit the Giraffe Centre where you will be up close and even get a chance to feed the Giraffes.
We will drop you at the hotel in the evening to freshen up and we will treat you to a Buffet dinner at The famous Carnivore Restaurant and later drop you off at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
A Premier Safaris Travel representative will meet you at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where you
will connect with your flight home.
