What to Expect
This is a budget 7-day safari encompassing Kenya's leading National Parks and Reserves. Amboseli National Park, famous for it's view of Mt. Kilimanjaro and Elephants. Lake Nakuru National Park, offers spectacular game viewing and is home to thousands of flamingos. Lake Naivasha, this is a freshwater lake popular for bird watching and guided boat safaris. Masai Mara National Reserve, one of the best reserves, where you get close encounter with a diverse population of the game all year round.
Day 1
You will be met by one
of our company representatives at the airport upon your arrival and given a
short briefing about the Safari.
You will then have
Breakfast before proceeding to Amboseli National Park.
Arrive at Amboseli
National Park in the afternoon for check-in and lunch. After lunch, you have
the option of doing an afternoon game drive.
Dinner and accommodation at Amboseli Serena Lodge [Mid Luxury] or Kibo Safari Camp [Mid-Range] Meal Plan on Full Board Basis- (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
QUICK FACTS ABOUT AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK.
- Amboseli National Reserve it is one of the best
wildlife-viewing experiences in the world with 400 species of birds including
water birds, pelicans, kingfishers, crakes, hammerkops, and 47 types of
raptors.
- The park protects two of the five main swamps, and
includes a dried-up Pleistocene lake and semiarid vegetation. The park is
famous for being the best place in the world to get close to free-ranging
elephants. The park also has views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest freestanding
mountain in the world.
Day 2
On this day, you will have breakfast and then proceed for game viewing in Amboseli National Park.
After breakfast the driver will pick you up from the lodge, thereafter proceed for a full day game drive with picnic lunches, but if you are not okay with picnic lunches you can proceed for an early morning game drive then return to the lodge for breakfast, you will enjoy your breakfast in Amboseli as you enjoy this serene environment as well as the whistling of birds.
Later on, proceed to the Cultural Village to interact with the local community-The Maasai, learn their culture and even engage in their jump and dance! You will then have the evening game drive and enjoy the marvelous views of Mt Kilimanjaro as the sun sets down. Return to the lodge for a shower, relaxation and thereafter dinner.

Day 3
Early in the morning,
wake up, prepare and have breakfast.
Thereafter start your journey to Lake Nakuru National Park.
Arrive in time for check-in, lunch and a short relaxation then proceed for an afternoon game drive. The afternoon game drive will give you the experience of diverse bird species with the combination of beautiful surroundings of the escarpment and picturesque ridges on the floor of the rift valley in this beautiful salty water lake full of wildlife.
The park is also surrounded by wooded and bushy grasslands with eye-catching flocks of flamingos that color the shore of the lake pink. The sunset over the African horizon will be the peak of this day as you round your afternoon game drive.

QUICK FACTS ABOUT LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK.

It is best known for its thousands, sometimes millions of flamingos nesting
along the shores. The surface of the shallow lake is often hardly recognizable
due to the continually shifting mass of pink.
- The number of
flamingos on the lake varies with water and food conditions and the best
vantage point is from Baboon Cliff.
- Also of interest is an
area of 188 km (116 mi) around the lake fenced off as a sanctuary to protect
giraffes as well as both black and white rhinos.
- The park has recently
been enlarged partly to provide the sanctuary for the black rhinos.
Day 4
Early in the morning, wake up, prepare and have breakfast.
Thereafter start your journey to Lake Nakuru Naivasha.
Arrive in Lake
Naivasha in time for check-in and lunch.
After a short
relaxation, proceed for an afternoon boat ride to Crescent Island.

QUICK FACTS ABOUT LAKE NAIVASHA
- The
name comes from a Maasai phrase nai posha which translates to place of
rough of rough waters because of the sudden storms, which can arise.
- It
is located 90 km North West of the capital city Nairobi.
- The
lake has many different types of wildlife comprising of hippos and fish
(tilapia, black bass and crayfish).
- The lake also supports a fair amount of indigenous wildlife: Waterbuck, Giraffe and Hippo can easily be seen almost anywhere on the lakeshore.
- There are close to 500 bird species including African Fish Eagles, Kingfishers, great cormorants, grey backed fiscal, yellow-collared lovebirds and the great white pelicans which are among the most decorative and common woodland species. This is the best and most rewarding bird sites in Kenya.
- However, for the more active, adrenaline files Safari-goer and adventurer, an unguided walk or bicycle ride in the nearby Hells Gate National Park or exploring the region is a great and amazing option. Here, you will travel through the deep ravines and on top of huge cliffs and enjoy the great view of the spectacular Great Rift Valley landscape.
- A visit to Crescent Island (a small private nature reserve) is worth a visit, where you can be able to spot zebras, wildebeest, impalas and giraffes on foot as you take part in a walking safari.
- Its an ideal stopover on long journeys especially from one tourist attraction site to the next.
CRESCENT ISLAND.
The Crescent Island is a private owned Sanctuary offering home to many wildlife. Guests can have a guided nature walk inside the sanctuary while on foot thus making it a perfect place to see the wild animals while on foot.
Day 5
Early in the morning, wake up, prepare and have breakfast.
Thereafter start your journey to Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Arrive in time for check-in, lunch and a short relaxation then proceed for an afternoon game drive.
The sunset over the African horizon will be the peak of this day as you experience the marvelous views of the great Maasai Mara sundowner and round your evening game drive.

FACTS ABOUT MAASAI MARA
- It is situated in the South-West of Kenya.
- This is undisputedly one of Africa's best-known and Kenya's most famous wildlife destinations. It is a must-visit destination for almost every traveler coming to Kenya.
- Together with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, they form Africa's most incredible, diverse, and spectacular ecosystems and possibly the world's top safari big game viewing ecosystem.
- The terrain is fairly a classic savannah and has a fairly consistent landscape of open grasslands. This makes ità easy to spot wildlife and the Great Wildebeest Migration.
- Maasai mara is wildly and best known for the Great wildebeest migration which occurs annually between Julyà and September. During this time, close to 1.5 million wildebeest, antelopes, and zebra migrate from the Serengetià (Tanzania) to the Maasai Mara (Kenya) in search of food and water. However, the migratory routes greatlyà depend on weather patterns and other factors.
- The reserve also boasts of around 500 bird species i.e., Ostrich, secretary bird, cranes, eagles, marabou stock,Ã and vultures.
- The Maa community is the largest community in this geographical area. A visit to the Maasai village to learnà more about their culture and traditions will be a bonus and a great experience as you will interact with the localà Maasai community.
Day 6
On
these days, you can choose between the three options depending on your
flexibility and preference:
Option
1: Have breakfast and then proceed for full day game viewing with packed Lunch
Boxes in Kenyaââ¬â¢s finest wildlife reserve-The Maasai Mara National Reserve
searching for the Big-Five and other animals.
Option
2: You may opt for an early morning game drive searching for the Big cats
making a kill then return to the Camp/Lodge to freshen up and have breakfast.
Spend the rest of the midmorning at your leisure either swimming, reading a
book or just relaxing. Later, have lunch and proceed for another
afternoon/Evening game drive in search of the Big-Five and other animals.
Option
3: You may choose to go an optional Hot Air Balloon Safari Experience USD 430
Per Person. Ideally, you will be picked up early in the morning from your
Camp/Lodge and transferred to the Launch Site. The whole experience takes about
an hour and a half. From there, you can proceed with the game drives with
packed lunch till evening combing the wild in search of the Big-Five animals.
You can also visit a Maasai Mara Cultural Village to learn more about their Culture & Traditions at an extra cost ($30 Per Person). Return to the lodge for a shower, relaxation and thereafter dinner.

Day 7
This
will be the final day of the safari. Itââ¬â¢s time to bid you farewell as you depart
Kenya, hopefully soon to return.

this day, you also have two options:

wake up early and have the early morning game drives, return to the Camp, have
breakfast, prepare then leave for Nairobi.
Or, wake up, prepare and have breakfast then depart Nairobi with en-route game-drives.
