What to Expect

Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu

Our driver guide will pick you from your city hotel at 0730 hrs and drive north to Samburu National Reserve. Arrive in the afternoon, check in and later proceed for an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp.

Day 2: Samburu Full Day

This day will be spent exploring this amazing game reserve, with morning and afternoon game drives. In Samburu you are likely to spot buffalo, leopard, lion, cheetah, the special five that is, Grevy's zebra, Beisa Oryx, reticulated giraffe, Gerenuk, Somali Ostrich and other plains game. It is home to the Samburu tribe who are also pastoralists. Owasso Nyiro River which runs along the southern boundary is home to crocodile and hippo with many animals visiting to drink during the heat of the day. Later, drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Samburu to Soysambu

Depart Samburu and proceed to Soysambu Conservancy. Check in your lodge in time for lunch and later proceed for an afternoon game viewing drive in the Conservancy. The Conservancy protects over 450 bird species and 15,000 wild animals. Rothschild giraffes have found a safe haven for breeding here, while a diverse variety of terrain shelters many species from herds of giant elands to tiny dik-dik and cliff-dwelling klip springers. Dinner and overnight at Sentrim Elementaita or a similar lodge

Day 4: Soysambu to Lake Nakuru  

After breakfast, check out and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru is a shallow soda lake with a beautiful scenery and its also home to the largest population of black rhinos in Kenya, as well as a sizeable number of flamingoes and other species of birds. Later, drive back to your resort for dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Flamingo Resort & Spa or a similar lodge.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast depart for Masai Mara National park. Check in, have lunch and later have an afternoon game drive. The game drive may reward you with sights of Lions, Cheetahs, Zebras, wildebeest, Gazelles, Antelopes, and many other animals.

Day 6 and 7: Full Day Masai Mara

Spend these two days viewing wildlife in Masai Mara Game Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. Have a chance to see the big five. Wildebeests, Zebras, Cheetahs and Gazelles and other kinds of wild animals and different species of birds can also be easily spotted. 

It plays host to one of the modern day wonders of the world. All of the big five call the Maasai Mara home. Lions are easily spotted at the Mara. The beautiful Maasai people continue to graze their livestock in the wilderness right alongside the wild beasts they have lived with for thousands of years. Later, drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

 Day 8: Masai Mara to Naivasha  

After breakfast, depart Mara and head to Lake Naivasha. Arrive in the early afternoon, take lunch at Kongoni Lodge. It will be followed by having free leisure time at your lodge or you can do other Optional Activities in Naivasha:

-Visiting Hell's Gate National Park: USD 30 per person entrance fees. The only park in Kenya where you can enjoy game viewing while on a bicycle.

-Boat ride at Lake Naivasha: USD 30 per person

-Visit Crescent Island: USD 40 per person

Later, have your dinner and overnight at Kongoni Lodge or similar.

Day 9: Lake Naivasha to Amboseli 

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Amboseli. Arrive in the early afternoon; check in at your lodge which will be followed by scrumptious lunch. Later proceed for an afternoon game drive. Amboseli National Park hosts a large population of elephants which are easily spotted and many other animals such as Impalas, Lions, African Buffalo, Spotted Hyena, Wildebeest and many more which are easily spotted in the park. After the adventurous game drive you will drive back to your lodge, freshen up, have dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 10: Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, head out for a full day game drive with packed lunch. The park contains swamp grounds in which elephants and hippos bathe in abundance. Moreover, there are also variety of plain game such as antelopes and  birds that can be spotted, as well as Mount Kilimanjaro's peak if the weather conditions permits. After the extensive game drives, head back to your lodge for dinner and over night.

Day 11: Amboseli to Nairobi  

Check out after breakfast and head back to Nairobi where our driver will drop you off at your city hotel/residence or at the airport for your flight back home marking the end of your safari.
