What to Expect

You will be picked up from your hotel for a  tour of the Nairobi’s principal landmarks and sights including, the Parliament buildings, Kenyatta Conference Centre, Railway Museum, The University of Nairobi, The Law courts, The observatory hill viewpoint from where you have a panoramic view of the city. 

Nairobi City was Founded in 1899, the city was handed capital status from Mombasa in 1905. It is  the capital and largest city of Kenya. It is popularly known as the “Green City in the Sun”. Nairobi is also the capital of the Nairobi Province and of the Nairobi District.

The city lies on the Nairobi River, in the south of the nation, and has an elevation of 1661M (5450 ft) above sea-level and is the most populous city in East Africa, with about 4 million inhabitants.

The main languages spoken here are Swahili and English. There are many churches, mosques and temples where people of different faiths go to worship. Restaurants serve almost every kind of food, from local dishes to the most exotic. Curries from India and Pakistan are very popular as is Chinese, Arabian and European cuisine.
