Create Your Trip To Mombasa to experience Haller Wildlife Park
About Haller Wildlife Park
Haller Wildlife Park is a nature park in Bamburi, Mombasa, on the Kenyan coast. It is the transformation of a quarry wasteland into an ecological area. Haller Park holds a variety of plant and animal species such as hippos, giraffes, buffalos, zebras, waterbucks, elands and Oryx. The bushbuck, suni and duiker are not easily seen because they tend to scamper away upon hearing any sounds. The animals most active at night are the bush pig, marsh mongoose and serval cat. Haller Park serves as a recreation spot for tourists and locals. Up until March 2007, it held the attraction of Owen and Mzee – the friendship of a hippopotamus and a tortoise.
